Parry Bay Sheep Farm
John and Lorraine Buchanan raise sheep on multiple pastures in Metchosin, BC. The farm has been in operation for over 40 years. They provide pasture-based lamb year round to many fine butcher shops and restaurants in Victoria. They strive to farm in a sensible and sustainable way using manures as much as possible for nutrient on our fields, and rotating crops for maximum soil health. Continually experimenting with different farming methods, including heritage grains, forage cover crops and no-till seeding.
